Samurai Champloo is a Japanese adventure anime that aired from May 2004 to March 2005 and comprises 26 episodes. It was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, after his critically acclaimed Cowboy Bepop anime series and produced by Manglobe Studio. Its reception has been great and it is praised for its animation and music.

Samurai Champloo follows the story of three eccentric characters, a tea waitress Fuu, an outlaw Mugen, and a ronin Jin. Fuu is molested by the son of her town’s prefect and seeks the protection of Mugen, an outlaw who just entered the town. This he gives in exchange for food. Meanwhile, Jin also arrives in the town and gets into a squabble with the prefect guards and kills them.

He later encounters Mugen who mistakes him for the prefect’s guards and both of them fight, eventually destroying the tea house. They are captured and about to be executed, but are saved by Fuu who later wins a coin toss against the two and makes them aid her to find a samurai who smells of sunflowers. The story continues with their adventures with Fuu.

Is There a Samurai Champloo Filler List?

Samurai Champloo FIller List-any fillers?

Unfortunately, no, Samurai Champloo does not have any fillers. There are a total of 26 episodes that were released in 2 seasons. The first season consists of 17 episodes which ran from May 2004 to September 2004 before being canceled by Fuji TV. The series resumed broadcasting by Fuji Network System in January 2005 as a second season and ran from January to March 2005 with the remaining episodes, 18 to 26 released in the period.

There were no additional episodes and hence no other content was considered filler. In addition, Samurai Champloo unlike many other animes was not based on a manga series.
